Grand Opening of the Educational Village

A new educational space for children, young people, families and the local community — now open. Grand opening of the Educational Village at Campus Bemke.

On Sunday, 12 January, the Educational Village complex was officially opened on the historic Kopiec grounds near Wadowice. Regular activities — primary school classes, extracurricular activities and other educational programmes — will begin in the new buildings at the start of February 2025. During the opening, guests had the opportunity to tour the new facility and learn about its functions. A symbolic ribbon-cutting marked the completion of the first stage of the Campus Bemke infrastructure expansion.

A modern space for education and development

“The Educational Village is a space for education and inspiration, a place to discover and develop passions. Lessons and interest-development activities for children and young people, as well as activities involving the local community, will take place in the Village’s diverse educational spaces — classrooms, art and chemistry labs, and the modern MakerSpace workshop. In the near future, the Village will also serve participants in holiday programmes organised on Campus,” – comments Katarzyna Przybył-Tamowicz, President of the Campus Bemke Foundation.

The spacious rooms and new workshop possibilities offered by the buildings create ideal conditions for education in many forms and using different methods. Every room has been designed to inspire children to discover the world, adds Tamowicz. Soon, students, young people and adults will be able to learn, take part in a variety of activities and carry out their own projects here. Entire families will find a place for themselves as well.

Parents play a key role in working with children and young people, and their involvement is essential to the educational process. The Village’s new spaces will support tutoring and cooperation with parents, helping to strengthen integration within the school community.
