Karolina and Tomasz Domogała were brought together by a shared passion for education and a desire to create real change.
Tomasz, an entrepreneur and owner of the TDJ investment company, experienced world-class education at institutions including Ampleforth College, Stanford University and Harvard, and for years dreamed of bringing the best of those places to inspire young people in Poland. Karolina studied in four countries, gaining knowledge at institutions including Loughborough University and Paris-Saclay, and turned her commitment into co-creating educational institutions in Poland.
Through the TDJ Foundation (now Bemke), they have supported the development of children and young people for years — dozens of students have had the opportunity to study abroad on scholarships, hundreds have benefited from development programmes and thousands have taken part in educational projects. Bemke is their shared answer to the question of how to help on a broader scale and more effectively.

This is a project that matured in us over many years. It grew from a dream — distant and requiring courage — but also from a deep conviction that education in Poland can look different. Better. More modern. With greater respect for a child’s potential and the strength of an engaged family.
Bemke is not a finished work. It is a path we have consciously chosen — and one we have invited others to join. People who are not afraid to dream of a better world. I am convinced that together we can create something that truly matters. For children. For families. For the future.

Since childhood, I dreamed of early-years education that supports a child’s development and builds a true partnership with parents. At Bemke, I was able to combine that dream with Tomasz’s idea of creating a world-class place of education.
Architecture has always been my passion, so I was deeply involved in the campus design process. I believe that space shapes us profoundly. Together with the team, we looked for solutions that foster relationships, mindfulness and a values-based culture. My starting point was a simple principle: good architecture awakens a sense of beauty.
